Cobden, Jan 6.--(Special)-- A resident of the Grant's Ridge section of Ross Township, Mrs. Harry Jamie son died Saturday afternoon in Cottage Hospital Pembroke. She had been s eriously ill for about two months.
Born on Kerr Line, 69 years ago, she was the eldest daughter of the la te Mr. and Mrs. William Black.
Besides her husband, she is survived by two sons, William James, Timmi ns, and Alex, at home, both of whom served overseas in the last war; and s ix daughters, Mrs. Brent Cox, Wheeling, West Virginia; Mrs. Robert Ross, M attawa; Mrs. Gerald Millar, Pembroke; Mrs. Charles N. Grace, Arnprior;Mr s. Stewart Bingham, Forester's Falls, and Mrs. Roland Brown, hamilton. A ll the family were with their mother at the time of her death. There a re also 16 grandchildren.
Surviving also are four brothers, john, George, and Thomas Black of Fo rester's Falls and james Black of Jordon River, Sask., and three sister s, Mrs. J.C. Bulmer and Mrs. John Valliant, Cobden, and Mrs. E. B. Bulme r, Forester's Falls.
Funeral services will be conducted by Rev. H.P. Boak, of Cobden, in Ro ss Presbyterian Church at 2:30 Tuesday with interment in the adjoining cem etery.
