  • Notes 
    • Amos Bulmer moved to Saskatchewan in the mid 1920s with most of his son s. Jessie was too sick to go and stayed with one of her daughters. She d ied in the Beachburg area and is buried in the Beachburg Cemetery. Amos f irst farmed near Dinsmore, Saskatchewan. Mother visited their home a numb er of times while she was teaching school in Saskatchewan in 1928. Amos t hen sold the farm at Dinsmore and moved to new land at Hythe, Alberta. Ac cording to mom he died of an accident while they were digging a well. Alt hough his death is recorded on a gravestone in the Beachburg Cemetery, h is body was never buried there.

      According to his grandson, William Bulmer, Amos was killed trying to th aw out a pump in the well. Apparently Amos and his son Bob had raised t he pump 20 to 30 feet when it slipped hitting Amos in the head and killi ng him. He is buried in the cemetery about one mile from Hythe.
