Robert died 14 Jun 19 86 in North Bay, Ontario at 88 years of age. His body was interred in Fore st Lawn Cemetery, North Bay. Roberts main occupation was RR Postal Cler k, he received his 25 year service pinfrom the Post Office in 1951 He w as baptised a Methodist. He was a Master - American Contract Bridge playe r. He married Frances Mabel Gardiner in North Bay, Ontario Trinity United Chu rch,11 Nov 1925. Mabel was born in Neepawa, Manitoba 27 Mar 1909. Mabel is the daught er of William James Gardiner and Agnes Jane Donaldson. She quit school af ter grade 8 to work to help her family one of the jobs included hand laund ry. She always wanted to be a nurse. She was a member of the Internation al Assoc of Machinist Aux #198. Mabel was an avid curler, golfer and brid ge player.
