He was born Aug 15, 1879 at Douglas, son of the late George Thompson and his wife the late Elizabeth Morrow. Mr. Thompson was educated in Douglas and was the oldest parishioner at the Most Precious Blood Church, Calabogie. He was predeceased by his first wife Jennie Dick and is survived by his second wife, Mary McCauly, only one son John of Arnprior, one dau Mrs Orvil Bradley (Mary) Funeral arrangements were made by the Goulet Funeral Home. Mr Thompson rested at the McPhail and Perkins Funeral Home for celebration of Eucharist at the Church of the Most Precious Blood, Calabogie Mar 18, 19 74 at 10 am. Rev D J Harrington conducted the service. Rev G Neville w as presented in the sanctuary. Spring interment will be held in the Douglas Cemetery.
