      THOMAS BARR GIBBONS

      On July 31, 1964, at the Winnipeg General Hospital, Thomas Barr, beloved husband of Elsie Gibbons of Twin Beaches, St. Laurent, Man. Funeral service will be held in the Thomson Funeral Chapels, Broadway at Furby, Tuesday, August 4 at 1:30 p.m. Rev. W/C A.R. MacIver officiating. Interment in Warren, Man. Courtesy parking west of the funeral chapels. Mr. Gibbons was born in Admanston, Ontario, March 12, 1898. He served in the First World War with the Fort Garry Horse and afterwards joined the Winnipeg Electric Company, retiring in 1945; during this time he was an active member of the O.B.V. Mr. Gibbons owned and operated Lido Plage and then Sunshine Beach at Twin Beaches, Manitoba. Surviving besides his wife are one son Barry and four grandchildren. There are also five brothers and one sister
