      James Adam Delahay Passes in 77th Year (Ottawa Citizen Jun 29 1943)
      Prominent in Ottawa business circles for the past 27 years, James Adam Delahay, of 9 Allan Place, died at a local hospital yesterday in his 77th year.
      Born in Pembroke, he was first associated in Ottawa with the National Manufacturing Company Ltd, and later was president of Delahay`s Men`s Wear Ltd., Sparks ST. For the past 8 years he had been president of Adjusters and Collectors Ltd. He attended St. James United Church. His wifedied six years ago.
      Surviving are two sons,Dr J.R. Delahay of Ottawa and Robert H. Delahay of Richmond, California; two daughters, Miss Kathleen, at home; and Miss Helen, a teacher at the High School of Commerce; a brother, George of Morristown, NY and two grandchildren.
      The funeral service will be held at 9 Allan Place on Wednesday at 8 p.m. Interment will be at Cobden on Thursday
